Lockdown to limit social contacts to a minimum

Unfortunately, we find ourselves in difficult circumstances – coronavirus is rapidly spreading once more. In previous weeks, we have seen a quick rise in the number of infections going up to around 9,000 per day. For this reason, the Netherlands entered another lockdown as of Tuesday 15 December until at least Tuesday 19 January.

We need to stay indoors as much as possible and limit our social contacts to the absolute minimum. This will also affect our mobility. The Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar programme office will continue to inform you about mobility measures and strategy.

The South Limburg Security Region website lists all information on the measures announced by the Dutch government and resulting from the Euregional situation, and how these may affect you.
