Municipality of Maastricht adjusts opening hours for bicycle-parking facilities in the city centre

Due to the measures taken against the spread of coronavirus, it is much quieter in the city centre. There are fewer employees who can or are allowed to go to work. The Municipality of Maastricht has therefore adjusted the opening hours of the bicycle-parking facilities in the city centre.

The bicycle-parking facilities on Markt square and Kesselskade are currently closed until 6 April. A mobile bicycle-parking facility will be placed on the square in front of Mosae Forum as soon as possible, so that bicycles can still be parked in the city centre.

Underground bicycle-parking facility temporarily free of charge

The underground bicycle-parking facility underneath the main railway station will remain open, and parking here is temporarily free of charge. Usually, only the first 24 hours are free. To limit physical contact, you don't have to check in or out of the parking facility. Please note that the bicycle and service point for bicycle repairs and bicycle accessories located inside the parking facility is closed.
