‘Ontdek de e-bike’ (Discover the e-bike) launched in Sittard-Geleen!

The bicycle is and remains a sustainable choice. Cycling is an especially healthy and safe way of getting from A to B in the current circumstances. E-bikes are becoming increasingly popular for longer journeys. If you would like to try out an e-bike and you live in the Sittard-Geleen municipality, then reserve an e-bike now for free for two weeks and collect it on Wednesday 1 July on Markt square in Geleen. You cxan choose from e-bikes and high-speed e-bikes!

Safe mobility

Many businesses have reopened, but many people are still working from home. This is relieving pressure on the roads and in public transport. That's why Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar is helping to ensure safe mobility for all. Making e-bikes and high-speed e-bikes available is part of that effort.

How does it work?

Visit ontdekdeebike.nl and select the bicycle that suits you best. To ensure that people can maintain sufficient distance on 1 July, we will make use of a number of time slots. This means that you must select the time slot before you collect your bicycle. If someone has already reserved your preferred bicycle, then try again in another time slot.

1 July in Sittard-Geleen municipality

The reserved bicycle will be ready for you to collect in your agreed time slot. You will receive instructions on how to use the bicycle, and the bicycle will be cleaned for you. You will then be ready to discover the e-bike!
