Special thanks for the employees of Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar’s associated employers

Each year, Zuid-Limburg Bereikbaar holds a survey on sustainable mobility among the employees of the approximately 30 employers who are associated with us. With this impact assessment we evaluate the campaigns, products, and services that we organized with or for the employers in 2019. The employees were asked questions such as: Have you travelled smarter? Are you contributing to a better environment and improved personal health and well-being?

We would like to thank all employees for participating. After all, we can only map our results and improving our products and services with your input. To emphasize our appreciation, all participants had the opportunity to win a number of great prizes, including the main prize: an e-bike worth €2,500. Together with the research agency, we randomly selected the prizewinners this month. All prizewinners were personally notified of their prizes.

Bad weather

Maastricht University's Rosanne Beijers was pleasantly surprised when she read Maastricht Bereikbaar's e-mail announcing she had won an e-bike. ‘Each day, I use my manual bicycle to cycle from my house in Heugem to my work at the University. I never expected to win such a stunning e-bike. I’m going to use it when the weather is bad, so that I can still cycle to work. After all, cycling against the wind is much easier on an e-bike.’

Cycling to her parents

‘My mother and I went to Bike Service Eijsden to pick my new bicycle. She has already gone through two e-bikes, so she knows what to look for when buying one. My mother swears by her e-bike, because she uses it for many things. I plan to use the e-bike to cycle to my parents in Eijsden, instead of driving by car. I am also already looking forward to the spring, so that I can explore South Limburg with my e-bike. I think it’s going to be wonderful!’
